Majesty

(ESA/Hubble)

We live in the midst of at least forty (40) powers of ten (orders of magnitude).

The Book explains in simple terms how all of that came to be.

It took six (6) days from our perspective here on Earth.

In an older post, I explained how a very young Earth and a very old universe are not a contradiction.

The Book says mankind is God's ultimate creation.

It also says he used part of the man to create a woman.  He created her for him.

That means making a woman was God's final act of forming the universe.

So, near the middle of those 42 majestic powers of ten, The Creator carefully placed his ultimate creation...

you

He did this all for His Glory, and I am overjoyed.

UPDATE, June 19, 2026...

A special friend shared this video with me.  (Ignore the clickbait images.  Listen to the text.)

Every time man develops a new observation technology, the glory of The Creator becomes more obvious.  That is why those who pursue real science are quite often the ones who develop the deepest faith.

Galileo pointed a telescope at Jupiter and saw moons.

Voyagers 1 and 2 traveled to the outer planets and transmitted back astounding and unexpected images.

Space telescopes like Hubble are able to see past the shimmer of Earth's atmosphere to reveal depth and complexity never seen before.  (See the photo at the top of this post.)

And now, this video explains how Artificial Intelligence (AI) quickly and deeply analyzed vast datasets to recognize layers of complex and consistent patterns, dumbfounding its entire audience.

Results always reveal even more Glory of our Creator.  "Design" and "intention" become even more apparent.

As I recall, the final project of my college Freshman FORTRAN class was to create a program to generate super Fibonacci numbers.  The teacher suggested the idea and provided an explanation of the particular sequence, and I wrote the program.  I think the "super" version was adding three numbers instead of just two, as described in the Wikipedia article, above.

I find it interesting I was given insight into what Fibonacci sequences are, which today helps me put the above video into context.  It mentions how both Nature and The Bible have Fibonacci patterns.

No matter what we do, we keep finding evidence of God.

... and I love it!
