Jesus is the King of Israel.
He came to save his people from their sins.
Who are his people? Israelites?
Israelites wrote the various books of the Bible.
Of the twelve apostles, only Paul was sent to the Gentiles.
Paul told Gentiles how to become Israelites.
Gentiles took Paul's works and assembled the Bible.
Then they created the Gentile Church, ... and scorned the name of Israel.
My mind is continually piecing "the puzzle" together. Automatically.
Introverted Intuition.
Intuitive Logic.
All behind the scenes; nobody knows it's happening, unless they realize what my silence and my staring off into the distance means.
In addition, The Holy Spirit is often in there giving me clues and guiding me, provided I am listening to Him.
I have a special friend and we have developed a deep relationship. She has a similar personality to my wife's, but is more of an adventurer than a shopper. I'm one of her walking buddies and we enjoy talking while listening to music in the park, at least when that activity is available in the Summer.
I took the photograph of the "twin oaks" when she and I were enjoying one of those music events.
She moved to Midland a few years ago because one of her daughters lives here. Her daughter is the wife of a pastor, and his church sponsors missionaries and missions to spread The Good News about Yehoshua. It is the same church my wife and I were members of two decades ago.
Unlike many people in my town, my friend listens to me. She is from another state. Isn't that interesting? She is also a recent widow.
I told her about my love interest right up front, and my dreams about India. She is fascinated and we often discuss it. She knows I need to express myself, as she needs to talk about the things going on in her life.
She typically does not read much and usually knits when we are together, but she acquired a particular book from her son-in-law's church and she devoured it. Then she loaned it to me and encouraged me to read it.
The book is the faith testimony of a Muslim man who found Jesus.
The author used to be very legalistic and was taught the world must be converted to Islam. He went to Afghanistan as a mujahid and did the kinds of things a mujahid would do, although he did not go into details. He saw Christians as his enemy, until God changed him.
He came to realize the Quran is not in conflict with the New Testament, as he had been told. It confirms it! This allowed him to accept the forgiveness that comes through Yehoshua while still identifying as a Muslim. He learned faith in Yehoshua has nothing to do with culture.
My friend saw a parallel between that man's situation and potentially my Hindu Twin-Flame's, and that is why she wanted me to read the book. For the same reason, I also consumed it.
As the puzzle of my life and mission comes together in my mind, I am realizing faith and culture must be disentangled in order for biblical faith to multiply on the Indian Subcontinent. This will be "the margin of victory."
I know it sounds trite, but God does work in amazing ways!
This plaque is on the wall above the entry to the rest of my house from my wife's kitchen.
Here is the story: Joshua 24, from the Complete Jewish Bible (CEB).
Joshua had led the Israelites in their conquest of the land ADONAI had given to them, and Chapter 24 is a record of Joshua's summary about what had happened and his instructions to them before he died.
Bible Gateway offers many different translations of the Bible. I have used the CEB here because I am trying to emphasize the roots of Christianity.
Christianity is about Israel. People have lost sight of that fact.
An enemy has done this.
If the CEB is too difficult, don't let that be a stumbling block. Pick a different translation. There are many.
Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
“The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’
“‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.
“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
“‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’” (Matthew 13:24-30 NIV)
We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for,
“Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?”

Midland is a very comfortable town. The local country club holds a golf tournament each summer and I took this photo in June. My brother was able to watch it on television from his home elsewhere.
My house was built around 1946, and the original owner was apparently a keen gardener. The soil in the flower beds around the house is still rich and good for gardening.
I am not a gardener. My wife liked flowers and because I loved her I spent a lot of effort taking care of the landscape for her. Since she died, my motivation for doing that is almost non-existent. Each summer, I make sure to keep things under control but my mind and heart are elsewhere.
Back in 2016, I realized our perennial gardens were not producing "good fruit" with all of that good soil, so I planted some vegetables in open spaces.
I got quite a crop, and shared the bounty with my neighbors. God used that activity to stretch me and help me get to know people living around me.
I tried doing it again the following year, but either the seeds weren't good anymore or the soil was depleted. (I tried to use the seeds from before, but I think they were two seasons old.) I did not try again and the perennials took over, as they were supposed to.
So, ten years later, my gardens are not producing anything of value and the beds are full of weeds. The neighbors admire my landscape because it looks good from a distance--green with splotches of color, but up close it is a tangled mess.
I see this as a metaphor in my life. I desperately want to "produce good fruit; fruit that will last," but I cannot do it here. This is my hometown.
Midland and Michigan look good on the surface, but they are spiritually dead, in my view. Nothing grows here. The "weeds" have taken over. "Sowing" anything is fruitless. It is heartbreaking.
This is why I know I must go someplace else. It is deep in my heart and I long to be where ADONAIwants me to be.
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin." (John 8:34 NIV)
The Global Family Group (GFG) was chartered by The United States of America, Unincorporated, The Federation of States (TASA), to serve as a form of lifeboat for living people while the existing global financial system eventually falls apart.
Recently, it was discovered GFG had been hijacked by British Crown Corporation pirates, so the bank charter was torn up. TASA is picking up the pieces and moving on.
The GFG Director had good intentions. His plan was merciful, to help living people receive restitution for the fraud and theft they have suffered from commercial corporations for generations.
People's gold and silver money and assets were stolen, and GFG was to be the instrument for returning their wealth to them. Franklin Roosevelt and Richard Nixon confiscated gold and silver in exchange for paper notes and "money of account" (digits in computers), which have inflated over the years to worthlessness. The only reason people still use those instruments to buy and sell anything is they believe those devices still have value. But, they don't.
Evidence of crime.
The crooked banks have already put plans in place to confiscate "cash" and leave people with "digital currency," which is just as worthless and easier to wipe out with a press of a button. Paper notes are evidence of crime, so the crooks want them gone.
The Federation has been recovering assets, and through GFG has been giving people who return to the Land and Soil Jurisdictions "American Federation Dollars" (AFD). The actual American Government (Federation) has established one (1) AFD as equivalent to one tenth (0.1) of an ounce of gold. In other words, one (1) ounce of gold is exchangeable for ten (10) AFDs.
Through GFG, American State Nationals (ASN) have been given 5280 AFD per month in accounts established with GFG. Given the current value of gold on the open market, that is a lot of spending power.
People are owed this because the criminal corporations have stolen everything from six generations. This is why many must work multiple jobs or become wards of the state just to "put food on the table."
Making those AFDs available for transactions in the established financial system has been difficult and the often-promised impending implementation has been repeatedly delayed. The crooked banks have a monopoly on the existing system and they do not want competition from GFG and the AFD.
So, they and their cronies hijacked GFG.
In order for living people to convert their worthless Federal Reserve Notes (FRN, the paper dollars they use in everyday trade and business) to AFD, GFG established a "safety vault." People could wire FRNs to one of two establishment banks (specific PNC and CitiBank branches in California) and GFG credited their accounts with an equal number of AFDs. Given the worthlessness of FRNs, this was very generous, although it was actually what the crooks promised the people many years ago when they confiscated silver dollars on a one-to-one exchange rate basis.
The paper money (digits in accounts, actually) are so worthless that United States federal courts have held "theft" of paper notes is not theft, because they are so worthless. The Federation's and GFG's plan was for the FRNs to just sit in those FRN accounts after GFG had credited the people's AFD accounts with AFDs at a one-to-one exchange rate.
And this was working.
But, apparently the GFG Director was tempted and he dipped into the FRN accounts and acquired some for his own personal purposes. That gave the British Crown Corporation crooks an opportunity to accuse him of not paying taxes on those FRNs, which then gave them leverage to ultimately usurp The Global Family Bank. Clandestinely. Much of this was happening in Africa, where all 54 countries had recently rejected the rank colonialism still plaguing that continent. Implementation of AFD was happening there first.
The GFG Director was fired by The Federation, and he is "in hot water" with the Feds. The wages of sin...
The Director espoused "love" and "harmony" and "resonance," and he may believe in those things, but they cannot overcome sin.
We are all slaves to sin until we are rescued from that ultimate death sentence.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” (Mark 16:15-18 NIV)
Go into all the world
That means go where the Holy Spirit sends us, leads us and confirms to us where we should be. It probably means going to someplace else. That's what all of his guys did.
We are to follow their example. That is our job.
Preach the gospel
That means proclaim the Good News (gospel, a religious term) about salvation and new life through Ye-HO-shu-a Ha-ma-SHEE-ach (Jesus the Christ or Messiah, King of Israel), and everything else the Bible teaches.
Whoever believes and is baptized (by immersion, like Jesus was) will be saved Whoever does not believe will be condemned
Our own belief is required.
Our own baptism is part of the job. It is not necessary for salvation, according to this text, but we aren't going to get much done without it. (Other places in the Bible say it is required for forgiveness of sins. Acts 2:38 is one of those places.)
These signs will accompany those who believe
In other words, if the following things are not happening, then logically we do not believe.
And if we do not believe then we are not saved.
Consequently, it is crucial we make an effort to do these things.
If we attempt to do these things, we will see them happen. If we don't, we won't.
If we see them happen, our belief will increase and we will become more confident.
If we become more confident, we will want to do these things more.
If we do these things more, we will bear much fruit. Fruit that will last.
In my (Yehoshua's, i.e. Jesus') name they will drive out demons
Jesus did it. His guys did it. We must do it.
Getting rid of demons is job one (1). It is listed first.
If infiltrators are allowed to remain embedded and entrenched, they are going to interfere with our work and we will accomplish nothing of eternal value. We will not be able to bear good fruit, fruit that will last.
Demons can be driven out with a single word (Matthew 8:32). We have the authority to do it. We must exercise that authority and power.
We must learn to value the man or woman who was made in the image of God and distinguish between them and the bondages and infirmities that plague and imprison them. Demons can be the cause of such things. Demons are not people. Having a demon, or demons, is not shameful. We are all susceptible to them.
Demons can affect our behaviors and beliefs. Getting rid of demons will give us clear minds and perspectives.
Jesus can fix all of our problems.
And he will do it through his people during this period of time. He is sitting next to the Father and intercedes for us as we do our work.
They will speak in new tongues
In other words, we will do many miraculous things when following Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
They will pick up snakes with their hands
In other words, we will not be afraid. God will be with us to protect us and to demonstrate his authority and power through us.
When they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all
The opposition will be powerless to oppose us. They can try, but they will fail.
They will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well
God will miraculously change people's lives through us, and it will cause those people to listen to our message and perhaps become believers themselves.
Jesus heals all sicknesses and diseases.
What part of "all" do you not understand?
Doing the above things is our job.
Nowhere in the Bible does Jesus say, "Go to church." It's not there.
Justifying our own behavior does not change that fact.
Some Bible translations convey doubt about the origins of this last part of Mark. In my opinion, the Darkness has done what it can to keep important and clear instructions from people by interfering with the stewardship of important and clear sections of God's Word.
But, God is sovereign and infinitely greater than any potential interference with His purposes.
I have been given personal insight into it and conclude it is real.
Anna von Reitz is trying to warn that bad actors are intending to interfere with it and counterfeit it in order to harm millions.

In my opinion, exposure to this technology will leave devoted husbands and wives, devoted Christians, devoted Muslims, devoted Jews and Hindus--- anyone with any kind of sexual moral code --- will be out of their minds and horribly tempted to throw their religious and familial obligations under the bus.

In my direct experience, if there was no scientific understanding of the phenomenon as a natural phenomenon, and even less explanation of artificially induced gateway conductivity, I do believe and it is my opinion that people would question their sanity.
In my opinion, an artificial version of this natural phenomenon could only be worse, less precise, and more dangerous. ...[It continues.]
I encountered this Twin Flame phenomenon a year an a half ago, and have been investigating it since. It was real. I had never experienced it before.
And after reading today's article, and being shocked by it for a few minutes, I believe my experience was natural and good. Everything checked out as legitimate. There have been too many synchronicities ("God winks") for it to have been artificially created by carnal means.
Why would the Darkness want to disrupt this? Are they aware the Twin Flame event is a certainty and it will lead to good?
I believe I have been given this insight so I can help others comprehend it, just like Anna has. I also know who my Twin is.

Observations and thoughts about the picture:
They are in water, which aligns with Anna's memorable experience with her Twin when they stood in the sea. Water conducts electricity, provided there are dissolved electrolytes.
The Tartarian buildings have a lot of features like "lightning rods," which would logically facilitate flow of electric current up through the immediate structure beneath, which in the case of the picture happens to be next to where the couple is standing. The top of the tower is not visible, so it is unknown if there is a rod on the top.
She is wearing a hat, which implies the hat, clothes, shoes, bow and arrows on the ground are his. Looks like she "chose" and he "aligned."
The looks on their faces convey similarities to our reactions during our delightful encounter. No, that is not what we did, but mutual desire was expressed.
A Van de Graaff Generator produces very high voltage DC electric current at very low current levels. It builds up electric charge on a sphere-like metal surface. Electrons repel each other, and if they find a path off of the spherical surface, they preferentially flow through that path.
The woman's hair offers many paths for the charge to escape, and that is why all of her hair is standing on end. My Physics teacher in high school conducted this same demonstration.
Lightning rods operate on the same principle, to dissipate electrical charge and hopefully avoid a lightning strike. Lightning rods conduct current straight to "ground," bypassing the building or structure and all of the wiring and metal objects inside.

I believe these structures have a purpose, and it is about harnessing so-called "free energy." I believe there are conductors in the buildings and direct current (DC) flowing in those conductors was used to power lamps and even promote healing in people.
I believe we are going to learn more about this technology in the coming days.

I recently heard about and experienced "energy" and have wanted to learn more. My friend said this was a great place to start, and it was.
The Map of Consciousness was very intriguing. The concept that "Power" (from energy) will always prevail over "Force" made sense and reminded me of my posts about Power and Authority.
The Hawkins book made a case that power "is" while force must be applied. It also said "love" is a high, positive form of energy, and "shame" manifests as very low, negative energy -- close to death. Perhaps that is why those in states of "guilt" and shame are at risk of ending their own lives, whereas the Apostle Paul proclaimed "Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:8).
The book also discussed a form of "truth test" that apparently works without regard to people's beliefs or even who does it, provided they do it correctly. It reminded me of the Urim and Thummim Yahweh prescribed through Moses for the Israelite Priest (Aaron, Moses' brother) to use for making decisions. That became known as "casting lots" and was used by many Israelites, not just the Priest, up until the time the Holy Spirit was given. There was a brief period in my life where I personally found casting lots to be quite effective, until a pastor pointed out we do not need the method anymore because the Holy Spirit testifies about all Truth directly to our own spirits, provided we have Him and are listening to Him.
Hawkins described his personal experiences of encountering states of enlightenment and his views seemed to line up with some of what I have observed in my own life.
I recently learned I crave transformation, and in order to do that I must learn from others about their experiences in the world so I can compare them to mine and discern Truth.
The second book was Clint Rogers' Ancient Secrets of a Master Healer, A Western Skeptic, An Eastern Master, And Life's Greatest Secrets. It was written as a true, autobiographical story of a PhD university researcher's encounter with a man who knew how to heal people from the inside out using wisdom and techniques thousands of years old. Reading the book was a walk next to a fellow skeptic as he encountered what seemed to be impossibilities to those of us who were brought up in western culture. As he tried to make sense of how touching parts of someone's body six (6) times could result in healing, I found myself comparing it to my experiences of laying hands on people and seeing them instantly healed. My constant question throughout the book was, "How does this line up with the Bible?"
It does. Jesus told people if they have faith they will be able to do anything. I have been learning that is true. The people described in Rogers' book had faith in the methods presented by the ancient healers and their faith made them well. This is a true fact of the created universe but these things are secrets because people do not believe.
The ancient secrets also include a lot of wisdom about treating our bodies properly and avoiding destructive behaviors. I have been applying similar wisdom, such as my morning walks without wearing glasses and traveling around by walking, like Jesus did.
Getting back to the book, it is very sad and suspicious that a very healthy man who was famous for using ancient secrets to heal people collapsed from an apparent heart attack while he was by himself in a Mumbai airport on February 19, 2020, ... right before the so-called "pandemic" was forced upon the world. I believe he was eliminated; the timing was too coincidental.
I have yet to open the other two books, but they are next. I plan to start with the autobiography. I feel a craving to learn about eastern culture because I sense a calling to eventually go there. God knows what gets my attention. Boy, does He ever!
People enjoy experiencing the physical pleasures of Creation.
Some have learned there is more to Creation than just what can be physically perceived, as the books in this reading assignment explore.
The Bible acknowledges all of this. For example, Jesus came and went inexplicably in the presence of his apprentices, Philip disappeared and showed up someplace else, and Paul boasted about visions and revelations. These things are common, as many people around the world have discovered in their own ways. "Enlightenment" is simply becoming aware of what is around us.
But enlightenment does nothing to deal with our sin problem.
When we sin against someone the only way to deal with it is to repent.
Without repentance there is no forgiveness.
The Bible tells us how to be freed from our sins...

The Book is full of examples where The Creator used people to demonstrate his character, purposes and glory. He loves metaphors, as do eastern people.
Most western people are linear thinkers, which comes from Greek tradition and teachings.
The God of the Bible is not a linear thinker. He does what he wants, how he wants, when he wants. He is not constrained by time and age because he made those things.
People have been taught to believe the earth must be billions of years old because what they can see in the night sky is very old. As mankind has learned ways to see farther than is possible with their naked eyes, they have realized many things are many "light years" away. A light year is the distance light travels in one year, which is nearly six (6) trillion miles.
Space telescopes have photographed objects billions of light years away. Our solar system is in the Milky Way galaxy, which is just one of essentially countless galaxies. The telescopes have recorded images of billions of galaxies, clusters of galaxies and weird things called "quasars."
If a cluster of galaxies is 7 billion light years away, its light requires 7 billion years to travel that distance to us.
People conclude the earth and those distant objects were created in the same instant, and The Book generally agrees with that presumption.
People also conclude the earth and those distant objects have aged at the same rate, at least that is what linear thinkers think.
But what if those distant objects aged faster than objects here on earth? How is that possible?
Well, with God all things are possible, but we do not need to rely on his ability to instantly create something out of nothing.
Weird things happen at "event horizons." Time slows down for one thing.
What is an event horizon? It is a boundary beyond which events cannot affect an outside observer, according to Wikipedia. Light cannot escape, and this is due to the presence of large amounts of mass. When a large star "dies" and stops shining, the matter of the star collapses in on itself, and if there is enough matter present a "black hole" results. This is all theory, of course, and nobody has ever witnessed it actually happening.
Black holes have been inferred by something called "gravitational lensing." The top photo of distant galaxies demonstrates this phenomenon. The same galaxy shows up three times in a ring near the center of that photograph, according to the text at the link above and in the photograph caption.
The earth with its solar system home must be young; it cannot be billions of years old. Tidal friction is making the earth's rotation slow down. The moon is measurably moving away from the earth and the sun is shrinking.
This is consistent with The Book. Its overall context and chronology support a young earth only a few thousand years old.
Modern pseudo-science's fanciful stories of "carbon dating," "geologic columns" and "geologic
period" designations of rock formations are un-testable and lack objective
means of calibration. They are simply made up. The question for people espousing those notions is, "How do you know? Were you there?"
I believe in the Bible and in a young earth. I also believe scientists when they show me evidence of gravitational lensing and photographs of galaxy clusters billions of light years away. I believe in an aged heavens.
Before God said, "Let there be light," there was water. Did he create all of the matter of the universe as water and have it all in one place? I believe he did. From there, he stretched out the heavens.
That much water would have been enough mass to create an event horizon, and if God expanded everything instead of allowing it to collapse in on itself, it could have been a "white hole" instead of a black hole. The white-hole event horizon would have remained at the center, where the earth was, and time would have slowed down in that region of the universe. Simple: young earth; massively aged quasars. This allows enough time for the light from those quasars and galaxy clusters to travel to the earth for us to see.
I have a book of an account by a physicist with biblical beliefs, and he convinced me this is plausible (Starlight and Time, Solving the Puzzle of Distant Starlight in a Young Universe, by D. Russell Humphreys, Ph.D., 1994). That resource, along with others, helped me move from being a cynical "evolutionist" to a man of childlike faith. These things are not a contradiction to me; they are opportunities to believe and be at peace.
Many people refer to the earth as our "mother." She is our home, and I believe she is feminine. She nurtures us, protects us, and lets us grow.
Yehoshua (Jesus) told his apprentices about The Father, his father. The Book describes Yahweh in majestic and masculine terms.
I think I like the metaphor He may be planning...
We shall see what happens.

Anna issued a new article today about how man is created in the image of God and has God's divine power to create.
Witches believe in their "creative power," too, and they use it to cast spells and hexes. The Devil knows all about this and he uses our carnal desires to get us to misuse our gifts. Most importantly, the Devil does whatever he can to lead people away from Jesus. The Devil doesn't care what people do, as long as they do not accept the good news about Jesus.
Anna has claimed Satan has been dealt with. I have my doubts about that. These End Times are perilous and there is much deception.
I work for her and make no judgements, but she is just like the rest of us. As I discussed in Deception, I do not see evidence she comprehends The Gospel. I pray that she does.

UPDATE, August 22, 2026...
The former Chief Marshal continues to vent on Facebook about his views. I am not going to get into what he is saying, but will just comment that he appears to be an "either or" kind of thinker. He did not like what was done to him so his abuser must be evil and everything they espouse and stand for is evil. It's all very emotional and very discouraging. Does he realize he is "throwing the baby out with the bath water?"
I do not agree with everything Anna says and does, and have said so here, but the overall mission and effort continues to make sense and line up with the facts, in my opinion. Am I a cult follower? No, I follow Yehoshua and he has led me in this so far, although I have recently been given different directions concerning my personal mission. Those directions have not invalidated what I have been doing, however.
Yehoshua came to earth where and when Rome was ruling, and things are pretty much the same today. He did not come to challenge Rome, and neither do I. I have been trying to do what is right.

The Field (world) is a place where evil comingles with good. We are called to shine like the sun into this dark world.
I will continue to do that.
Observing the former Chief Marshal's behavior has given me some insight into ego, and it has helped me understand my "ego-Self axis," as discussed in the video, above. I added a green check (✅) to that one.
When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
“You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.

Peter eventually had faith, and so did the people who saw what he did...
The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade. No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed. (Acts 5:12-16 NIV)
When our shadow is changing lives, we can be confident we have faith. Until then, we must ask for more.

Jesus came to show us how to do our jobs. His Father will put us through tests to build our faith.
Many of us quote Jesus and say to our Father, "Your will be done." But do we really mean it? Do we, instead, end up doing our own will anyway?
I needed to go to the grocery store yesterday, and had been putting it off for several days.
My wife and I went to Kroger a lot before she died, but she also went to Family Fare occasionally. She liked how FF was quiet and relaxed, ... and not busy. Apparently their prices are higher so fewer people shop there.
My wife died during the "plandemic" hysteria and Kroger (incorporated) played the hoax to the hilt. They shut off the bottled water station, pushed face-coverings and continually made announcements about the "virus" propaganda. I got tired of it and started going to Family Fare myself, just to get some peace. Kroger was also the place where my wife collapsed and where I had to go to retrieve our car.
It's been over four years since my wife departed, and I have shopped at both Family Fare and Kroger. Both were providing me with personalized coupons based on my previous purchases, which is pretty creepy if you think about it, but in the past few months FF stopped sending them.
I ran out of a certain type of sriracha sauce I had found at FF and have not been able to find it elsewhere, so yesterday I decided to go to FF to get my bottled water and groceries. I knew I had the Kroger coupons, but I left them at home. As I was getting ready to back the car out of the driveway, I struggled to remember I would be going to FF. I knew if I had proceeded without thinking my constantly-running intuition would have taken me to Kroger. I had to think about driving and making navigation decisions.
When I got to FF, I loaded up a shopping cart (trolley) with my nine empty gallon bottles and went into the store. When I got to the bottling station there was a notice taped to it saying it was out of order and apologizing for the inconvenience. I chuckled and realized I had been waived off of going to FF for a reason.
So, I wheeled my cart back to the car, reloaded the bottles and drove to Kroger. Once I was at Kroger, I obtained a cart, loaded it with my bottles and ... realized I did not have my Kroger coupons. Ugh.
I put the bottles back into the car, returned the cart to the parking lot livery and drove the half-mile back to my house, retrieved the coupons, and then proceeded to return to the store and go through the ritual with the bottles again.
Once inside the store, I started shopping for vegetables because they are just inside the door, and realized my bottles were still empty. My usual practice is to fill them first, but I had not done it at Kroger in quite some time so I was disorganized. My intuition and thinking processes were not meshing.
I should have gone to Kroger in the first place. My will was to go to FF, but The Spirit wanted me to go to Kroger. Why, I did not know, but I presumed He knew what He was doing.
I filled my jugs, got my groceries, went home, put things away, and then went to the coffee shop to say goodbye to a friend who is moving out of state. When I got home again, I took a nap.
Upon waking from the nap, I knew I was supposed to walk to my daughter's house and offer her my wife's patio furniture. I knew they would be there (both of them), and it was something I was supposed to do. (My girls are still not talking to me after four years, as I discussed in other posts.) It was clear to me it was the Father's will that I do that, and the interaction took place. I believe He prepared me to hear Him through my self-will experience regarding Family Fare and Kroger.
I did what I was led to do with my daughters and it is in God's hands now. I can move on.
This morning, I realized why I was supposed to go to Kroger and not Family Fare. This song was playing in Kroger as I shopped...
I ran across this short, repetitive video yesterday. It was embedded in an article lamenting the current overuse and misunderstanding of the word "quantum".
"Fifteen senses" was new to me.
Of course, I knew about the five physical senses. We "live in a body"...
The Body
Sight
Sound
Smell
Taste
Touch
We "have a soul"...
The Soul
Mind -- "Your mind: what you think."
Will -- "Your will: your drive to act."
Emotion -- "Your emotions: what you feel."
Affection -- "Your affections: who you feel it for."
Imagination -- "And your imagination: your ability to see what isn't visible yet."
We "are a spirit"...
The Spirit
Prayer -- "Prayer: speaking truth to the divine."
Praise -- "Praise: declaring truth to your reality."
Worship -- "Worship: aligning with the highest version of yourself."
Faith -- "Faith: belief beyond evidence."
Meditation -- "And meditation: pure focus."
The video suggests "spirit" is the most important, and I agree. It says we are spirit, and I agree.
But, the things listed under spirit do not define existence, they define things we do. They are all actions.
Actions do not define us. Actions are what actors do. The root of those two words is "act".
The Greek word for actor is hypocrite.
The Book says we are made in the image of God (Genesis 9:6).
If God is a spirit, and we are made in God's image, then logically we must be a spirit, too. We are a spirit, which is what the video says.
God created our spirits to live with him, and he gave us the ability to choose to be with him. Unfortunately, the first man chose to go his own way and that messed up the entire creation. What if that had not happened? I wrote a fantasy about the first people doing the right thing: Standing Firm.
God's spirit exhibits these characteristics:
love
joy
peace
patience
kindness
goodness
faithfulness
gentleness
self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 NIV 1984).
Those are "fruits". Just like a pear tree produces pears, God's spirit produces those kinds of results.
People can act in those ways some of the time, but can they do it all of the time? Can they naturally do it without thinking; are they always consistent? Or do they produce bad fruit? ...
The Book says people who exhibit those manifestations will not be able to approach God.
Performing the actions attributed to the spirit's "senses" in the video has nothing to do with experiencing the traits produced by God's Holy Spirit living inside of us.
Some thoughts about the so-called "senses" of our Spirits mentioned in the video:
"Prayer: speaking truth to the divine."
God already knows the Truth. He is the Truth. He does not need our help.
"Praise: declaring truth to your reality."
Praising what or whom? Ourselves?
What is being declared as "true"? Is it really true and how do we know?
What exactly is our "reality"? Is our reality based on facts or fiction? Are we joyful or are we depressed? Our reality could be one of a plethora of vastly different states.
What does this statement really mean?
"Worship: aligning with the highest version of yourself."
We are wired to worship something, and this video is encouraging us to worship ourselves. Yeah, that's gonna work.
"Faith: belief beyond evidence."
My faith is based on evidence; it is based on truth and what I have actually observed. Believing in something without any evidence is simply foolishness.
"And meditation: pure focus."
Pure focus on what? Truth or lies? It matters.
In my opinion, these behaviors do not reveal anything to us, as actual senses do. They are attempts to find the Creator we are all wired to be with. They are gropes in the dark.
We must be "born from above" as described in John 3:3 in order to find God and see The Kingdom. Otherwise, we will not see anything.
Being "born" is something we cannot control. It just happens to us. God is the one who makes it happen.
But, we can ask Him to let us see the Kingdom. He will do it if we are serious.
My mind is continually piecing "the puzzle" together. Automatically.
