Why did the serpent approach the woman instead of the man?

The following is a fantasy of what might have been, if Adam had not sinned...

¹The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

...the Lord God made a woman from the part he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

The man took the woman by the hand and showed her around the garden.  He told her, "The Lord God commanded me, 'You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.'

"The Lord God left me to take care of the garden.  He formed all of its creatures from the ground, and he let me name each of them.  He also formed you from part of me, and I named you.  He made you for me, and I care about you.  I would not want to lose you!

"Therefore, since the Lord God commanded me not to eat from that tree, I am commanding you not to eat from it either."

She responded, "Yes, sir.  I will not eat from that tree."

...Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.'"

“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
 
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she was tempted to eat it, but she did not.

She said to the serpent, "My master commanded me not to eat from that tree, and I will not disobey him.  You must speak to him about it."

The man was nearby and overheard the conversation.  He said to the serpent, "Who are you and what do you want?"  The serpent did not respond and withdrew to try again another time.

The man said to the woman, "What did that creature want?"

She said, "He told me we would not die if we eat from the tree you commanded me not to eat from."

"That creature is a liar.  Do not listen to him.  Our Master commanded us not to eat from that tree, and we are not going to eat from it."

The man took the woman by the hand and they walked in the garden, naked and unashamed.  And the Lord God was pleased.

UPDATE, July 28, 2022...

So, why did the serpent approach the woman instead of the man?  I think the answers are in the non-italicized text of the fantasy, which are my words.

The Genesis account says nothing about how the man told the woman what God told him.  The fantasy fills in that gap.  The man is explicit and provides leadership, and the woman responds positively to that leadership.

In the Genesis account, the woman did not respond to the serpent with the same message God gave to the man.  She added that they were not to touch the tree.  Did she touch the tree at some point because it was beautiful and the man rebuked her?  We don't know.  In the fantasy, she repeats what the man said verbatim.  Is that likely?  She got the information second hand, and anyone who has played the game of telephone knows messages become corrupted when they are passed verbally between people.

The serpent then lied to her.  In Genesis, she listened to him, believed him, and then acted on her own.  She was open to the suggestion and she disobeyed authority.  But in the fantasy, she resisted the temptation, submitted to the man's authority and deferred to him.  The man also took charge and confronted the situation.

Do we handle situations like the Genesis account, or the fantasy?  Which is better?  What should we do?

Marriage is the model God gave us to understand our relationship with Jesus.  If we understand submission in marriage we have a better chance of learning to submit to Jesus and do things His way.

UPDATE, August 2, 2022...

What happened in the Garden is still happening today.  The Darkness wants women leading because they are not designed to do it and are therefore not good at it.  It wants men to abdicate their God-ordained authority and responsibilities so evil will not be confronted and can run amok.  This strategy was effective in the beginning and is still effective today.

Fallen people are influenced to distort what is righteous until it is ridiculous, and then they are used to propagandize and program the masses.  Most women are repelled by photos like this, and they will move directly in the opposite direction, ... which is exactly what the Darkness wants.

God designed the sex act to have dominant and submissive roles.  It is beneficial.  Not only does it continue God's creation by producing offspring, it bonds the couple together:  physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.  It reminds the participants who is in charge.³  And it is also very pleasurable.  The clitoris has no other purpose than to produce pleasure.  God is good.  Men and women aren't, ... unless and until they have been allowed to repent and experience the Kingdom.

Men must be warriors; their women must help them.  Those are dominant and submissive roles, and the Darkness is terrified of them because they are effective against it.

I really, really love this photo.  "Woman" is the ultimate creation made by the LORD God (Genesis 2:22).  I love the presentation.  I love the submission.  As a man, this makes me very happy.

The model is dressed as a kajira in a camisk, as described in the John Norman Gor novels.  I am not interested in reading any of the books, and if you check out the link (Wikipedia) you will understand why.  A "Gorean subculture" exists where people order their lives based on the books.  It seems some people are looking for ways to fulfill their God-ordained gender roles despite politically-correct cultural pressures.

The mark on the model's leg is a "kef" and it seems to be associated with the word kajira, which means "slave girl" in the Gorean fantasy world.  The kef looks a lot like a "K," which is the eleventh (11) letter of the alphabet.  Where have we seen that before? 

The font on the cover of the first Gor book includes some triangular-shaped letters.  Again, that looks like symbolism to me.

As I mentioned in an update to the Manifestations post, a woman named "Svali" confessed her role in the cult she was born into.  She also discussed how that cult has infiltrated institutions so they can control the world, ... or control it for their masters.  They have infiltrated all professions and walks of life, and their members include authors and publishers.  Popular books are one of many ways they propagandize, influence, and control the masses.

Midland, Michigan is the home of The Mackinac Center for Public Policy, and a guy named Joe Overton worked there and developed the idea of the "Overton window."  The center's interest is public policy, but the concept applies to all aspects of life.

Those who want to shift the Overton window will introduce and promote radical and unthinkable ideas.  For example, bikinis and short-shorts were introduced in the late 1960's and early 1970's.  Those things were radical back then, but are common today.  The Overton window was shifted.

That is what Svali's cult and others have been doing and is what the number eleven (11) is all about.  They use the Hegelian Dialectic to create two sides and then pit them against one another.  Radical and unthinkable behaviors polarize the groups.

These evil people think this will lead to what they want:  world government where they are in charge.  They think the masses will be sickened by the chaos and will submit to anyone who seems to have a viable plan.  Create a problem and provide the solution.  That has always been their modus operandi.

So, one of the conflicts they have created is the Feminists versus the Goreans.  That's what's going on.  Don't fall for it.  Step out of the Hegelian Dialectic and defeat it.  Stay with God's model for marriage and enjoy your spouse.

³The following link is an explicit short story of a married, Christian couple's reconciliation and "make-up" sex acts.  Some people may find parts of it beyond their comfort zones, but overall I think it is a good example of how I believe God intends for us to build each other up and enjoy one another in our marriages.  It gets more edgy the further you read, so you can "bail out" if you begin to feel uncomfortable.  I think the entire thing is what God intends for us, and Yeshua is pleased when we cherish what His Father has given us.

I believe Yeshua really is looking forward to His wedding, and it will be infinitely beyond anything we can experience or comprehend during this age.

UPDATE, June 30, 2023...

If we do things God's way, we will see Him open doors (and close doors) that will ultimately bring about His purposes.  If we insist on doing things our way, we will fail.  It's as simple as that.

Putting it another way, this is not about prohibiting women from doing anything.   It is about everyone doing their own jobs and staying in their respective lanes.

If men lead, women will not see a need to take over.  If women give men respect and encourage them to lead, they will probably do so.  And if a wife embraces her role as their husband's "shulamite," I believe she will be greatly rewarded and her man will accomplish great things.

The book of Judges is an account of bad examples, and how God triumphed anyway.  The story of Deborah is not something to emulate.  A woman was doing a job men should have been doing, but the text does not say specifically why.  In general terms, the people had stopped obeying the LORD.

After Joshua had dismissed the Israelites, they went to take possession of the land, each to their own inheritance. The people served the Lord throughout the lifetime of Joshua and of the elders who outlived him and who had seen all the great things the Lord had done for Israel.

Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died at the age of a hundred and ten.  [That's an interesting number:  110 --> 11.] And they buried him in the land of his inheritance, at Timnath Heres in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.

After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the Lord nor what he had done for Israel. Then the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord and served the Baals. They forsook the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt. They followed and worshiped various gods of the peoples around them. They aroused the Lord’s anger because they forsook him and served Baal and the Ashtoreths. In his anger against Israel the Lord gave them into the hands of raiders who plundered them. He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, whom they were no longer able to resist. Whenever Israel went out to fight, the hand of the Lord was against them to defeat them, just as he had sworn to them. They were in great distress.

Then the Lord raised up judges [or leaders], who saved them out of the hands of these raiders. Yet they would not listen to their judges but prostituted themselves to other gods and worshiped them. They quickly turned from the ways of their ancestors, who had been obedient to the Lord’s commands. Whenever the Lord raised up a judge for them, he was with the judge and saved them out of the hands of their enemies as long as the judge lived; for the Lord relented because of their groaning under those who oppressed and afflicted them. But when the judge died, the people returned to ways even more corrupt than those of their ancestors, following other gods and serving and worshiping them. They refused to give up their evil practices and stubborn ways.

Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel and said, “Because this nation has violated the covenant I ordained for their ancestors and has not listened to me, I will no longer drive out before them any of the nations Joshua left when he died. I will use them to test Israel and see whether they will keep the way of the Lord and walk in it as their ancestors did.” The Lord had allowed those nations to remain; he did not drive them out at once by giving them into the hands of Joshua.  (Judges 2:6-23 NIV)

The same will be true for us if we do not do things God's way.  There is nothing new under the sun.

The Contagion

We have all received suspicious, unsolicited emails.  Most are obvious and we delete them immediately, but some are very deceptive.  If they find the right computer platform, the right situation and the right person, they can be very dangerous.  They can fool people into compromising their sensitive information, and they can install nefarious code into the victim's equipment.  'Computer virus' is the generic term most people are familiar with, but these contagions exist in many forms and their makers are constantly changing them to evade defenses.

Some computer viruses propagate by invading a computer and using that computer to send more emails to additional unsuspecting recipients.  They reproduce like a biological virus, hence the metaphor.  In order for the virus to reproduce, the attacking email must look enough like a legitimate email from a legitimate source to fool the computer's user into allowing the contagion into their system.  The more the email looks like the real thing, the more likely the contagion will be able to invade.

As I write this post, the world is experiencing something unprecedented.  A new human virus is infecting people around the world, and many countries have advised their inhabitants to remain in their homes and to avoid being within six feet (two meters) of others when they are elsewhere.  Epidemiologists advise this is the best way to slow and blunt the spread of the virus.  Everybody is learning about contagions.

This means many people are not working right now and are looking for things to do.  Watching television is one way to pass time.  A number of my Christian friends have been praising a new television show called The Chosen, which can be watched over the Internet.  The Holy Spirit advised me it was just another 'Jesus loves me' program, but when my sister expressed her enthusiasm for it and strongly encouraged us to watch it, I decided I needed to check it out.  (She is the person who phoned to notify me something was happening on the morning of 9/11.)

This television series was produced through something called 'crowd funding'.  Potential fans contribute small amounts of money through the Internet, and the total sum can be enough to produce a high-production-value product.  Many Christians are probably excited about this concept because it can potentially bypass the ungodly Hollywood machine that taints most Bible-based works, or outright prevents them from existing.

I am always suspicious of things promoted by "the crowd."  Crowds are fickle.  They followed Jesus around when he taught them and gave them bread and fish, but when his message became difficult, most of them left.  Remember, it was a crowd of people who demanded Jesus be crucified.  Crowds will fund things as long as they like what they are funding.  If the message gets too uncomfortable, the funding will dry up.  This is the problem institutional churches always experience, and is the reason they always end up watering down the message.  Pastors like to eat.

Anyway, my wife and I watched the first episode.  It was well done, but it was what I expected.  The first flag for me was the treatment of the woman.  Her name was "Lili," which I assumed was short for Lilith.  This person manifested demons and was tormented.  She lived in the "red quarter," which I assumed meant she was a prostitute.  That assumption was confirmed in a later episode, after it was revealed the woman's name was Mary Magdalene.  I have seen this presumption many times, and I discussed it in a previous post.

In the third episode, Jesus spent his time alone with children.  My wife and I both thought this was very creepy, and I do not believe Jesus would have done that.  As I learn to walk more and more like Him, I cannot see myself doing it.  I have certainly interacted with children and treated them kindly, but I always send them back to their parents, the ones responsible for them.  In this episode, Jesus was shown teaching the children spiritual concepts they could not possibly be ready for.  The children recited memorized passages from Torah, much like children are taught to do in modern Sunday Schools.  There is nothing in Scripture to support any of this, but it does reinforce institutional church practices.

To be fair, this television series does convey truth.  It has to, or people would immediately dismiss it.  The treatment of the "woman at the well" story was pretty good, in my opinion.  The dramatization stayed close to the biblical text.  There were other biblically consistent segments, but some of them were grossly out of context.

For example, before Simon (Peter) joined the group, there was a miraculous catch of fish and Jesus talked about "end times" concepts.  The Bible says those discussions happened much later, and context is always important.  It reminded me of how pastors indiscriminately spray biblical stories and quotes out onto a very heterogeneous mix of people, as if hosing them down with "The Word" will somehow make them all holy.  But Jesus didn't do that.  He spoke in parables to the crowds so that those with 'ears to hear' might understand his message, and those who didn't would remain unprovoked.  He spoke plainly in private to his intimate followers because they could understand, and he showed them how to do the things he did, like cast out demons and heal the sick.  He rebuked the hardened religious leaders and warned about hell in order to dissuade people from following them, and to "pick a fight" with the Darkness.  Jesus knew context mattered, and who he talked to mattered.  Apparently the people who made this television series don't understand those things, probably because they are imitating what they see every week in the church services they attend.

The thing that bothered me the most was the "wine miracle" at the wedding.  In the television program, Jesus kicked everybody out of the room when he did the miracle, and he called them all back in once it was done.  That is not what the text says.  The text says...

Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.

Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”

They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. (John 2, NIV)

According to the Bible, Jesus did the miracle while they were standing right there in his presence.  He did not allow doubt to creep in.  Had he actually sent them out of the room, skeptics and lying spirits (demons) would easily have claimed it was only a trick and that he had replaced the water with wine from somewhere else.  Those lies destroy faith.  Jesus wanted to teach his new followers to have faith.  This was his first public miracle, and he made it easy and undeniable.  There would be plenty of opportunities later to test their faith, once they actually had some.  No, the account in the TV show was just wrong, and I actually sensed mocking from the Darkness as the episode played.

This is the problem I have with dramatized Bible stories.  Unless the text is strictly followed, error is introduced.  When we take "artistic license" to develop characters, create drama and compress the story-line to conform to time constraints, we change the story.  When we do those things with Biblical Truth, we end up corrupting it and creating a lie.  It is impossible to do otherwise.  Even the Visual Bible production of Matthew, which sticks rigidly to the 1984 NIV, introduces extra-biblical concepts and teachings through cinematic language, props and the actors' behaviors. 

If we have discernment, we can see these things and guard against them.  We can warn others, as I am trying to do here.  And we can recognize what is really going on.

I am certain the people involved in making this television series are well-meaning and excited about Jesus.  I am also certain those who recommended it to me are the same.  But, I wonder who, and what, are really behind these productions.  Actually, I don't wonder; I know.

The Darkness uses everything it can to trip up those who are trying to get into the Kingdom of Israel, and it uses those we love and trust to accomplish those schemes.  Film and television are extremely effective ways to propagandize the masses.  We may think we can use those tools to help Jesus expand his Kingdom, but God does not work that way.  He sends the Holy Spirit to individual people, and there is no need for any mediators or middle-men.  He does not need mass media.  You don't need me to tell you what to do, provided you have the Holy Spirit and are listening to him.  The Holy Spirit will tell you what you need to know and what to do.  He will do things His way.  This is how we have discernment, and it is why the people who live in the world do not understand.  They do not see the Holy Spirit, nor do they know Him.  They are lost, and hierarchical systems must be instituted to keep them controlled.  There need to be bosses.  There need to be "pyramid schemes."  The legions of individuals must be infiltrated by legions of demons.  That is how they are controlled by the 'god of this world', who knows his time is short.

What is the actual "message" of this television series?  Is there a message?  Is it the message Jesus proclaimed?  Is it Peter's message?  What about Paul's?  What do you think?  Here is what Paul said at the beginning of his letter to the Galatian, Spiritual Israelites (saints)...

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.  (Galatians 1 NIV)

Based on that, I don't think Paul would have been a fan of "crowd funding."

Do you see the following things in "The Chosen", Season One? ...

From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”  (Matthew 4:17 NIV)

“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.  (Acts 2:36-41 NIV)

Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.  (Ephesians 6:19-20 NIV)

I challenge my readers to watch the first season of "The Chosen" and count the number of times repentance is mentioned.  I suspect you won't need to use more than the fingers on your left hand.


This Internet television program is a contagion.  It invades a receptive host and reproduces itself to invade other hosts.  This contagion is spiritual, and it is more dangerous than any biological virus or computer virus you will ever encounter.  The lies it whispers and implies are a risk to your eternal health.

Delete it.

Do biological viruses actually exist?

What are "exosomes?"  Are they 'bags of trash' expelled by cells?  When cells are sick or poisoned, do those cells eliminate toxins by jettisoning little packets of material?  Since those things contain toxins and other bad stuff, do they cause inflammation in the body?  Does this, perhaps, explain why I had a sore throat early in my fast?

I had heard viruses are actually exosomes, and I have become quite skeptical of the established narrative about viruses.  Anna von Reitz wrote an article about it recently and you can read it here:  (AVR #4007, "Forwarding a Grenade").  It contains text from a report by journalist Jon Rappoport, and that report includes an interview with a Pharma insider.

This is probably a topic you need to explore on your own, and you may experience some cognitive dissonance.

 

This world is so full of lies...

 

Who Are "My People"?

I might "get stoned" for saying this, but folks, we need to talk!  It's time to put childish ways behind us.

Many people quote this passage, particularly in the United States of America...

"if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."  (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV)

There are many, many places where this passage is quoted, and that's understandable.  It is a very encouraging statement, and it comforts many.  It is also a very challenging statement, and is often used in sermons and speeches, always with good intentions.

But, we must be careful because this passage is usually taken out of context.

What is the context of this passage?  Have you read it recently, in context?  I challenge you to do so, but before you do, I have some questions for you to ponder as you read it.  Actually, I have one primary question, and then several followup questions.

The primary question is this:  Who are "My people"?

How we answer that question reveals much about our understanding and what we have been taught.  I am sure many people believe it refers to Christians, and some people believe it refers to the people of the United States, as can be inferred from the picture, above.  But is that really what the text actually says?

The followup questions are ones I challenge you to formulate and ask yourself.  Consider some of the things I have discussed in previous posts, particularly Paul's Mystery and Critical Thinking.  See if your ideas about the passage change.

UPDATE, August 21, 2022...

"My People" are Israelites.  That has always been the case and is still true today, but the Darkness does not want you to know it because identifying with Israel will give you authority over them!

UPDATE, November 2, 2023...

I believe I became one of "My People" when I made my commitment to spiritual Israel at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Prior to that, my experiences just happened to me, and I believe they were to get my attention and teach me lessons.  After that, my actions seemed to correlate with authority, like when we stopped at the service area near Somerset and the prayer I prayed on my daughter's birthday.

I believe that moment at the Tomb was when I was grafted into the Israel "tree," and started receiving the "nourishing sap."

So, what does this mean?

I believe it means those who have not identified with spiritual Israel are not "My People," meaning they are not God-The-Creator's People and Yehoshua is not their King.  I believe this is what Marvin Byers was in anguish about as he wrote Paul's Mystery, and it is a big part of what motivates me to do what I do, including saying things on this blog.

It grieves me and horrifies me to see people I love and care about be deceived by Gentile Teachings, and nothing I say seems to get through that narcissistic armor.

Many people read and preach from the Bible about the passages stating how God loves us and cares for us, but those authors were writing to spiritual Israelites...

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
    we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 8:35-39 NIV)

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.  (1 John 4:7-12 NIV)

These things were written to spiritual Israelites, "My People," ... not Gentiles.  Paul was telling receptive Gentile individuals how to join Yehoshua, the King of Israel.  John was reassuring fellow Yehoshua-believing Israelites.

Please take these things into your prayer closet and discuss them with your God.

I have the right to love whoever I want, although they are not obligated to love me in return.  I wish they would, however, and hope they eventually will.

As I have reflected on that post, The LORD has revealed to me He is letting me get a taste of his feelings for "His People."  He has the right to fall in love with whoever He wants, as well, and He has fallen in love with the children of Abraham.

The Book says "His People" will eventually recognize their Beloved and run to Him.  I hope that happens to me.

obstinate, adjective, 1: stubbornly adhering to an opinion, purpose, or course in spite of reason, arguments, or persuasion.

The one I love came to Midland to learn how to operate a free coffee shop, and she was driven by a vision she had shortly after she returned from an extensive overseas experience where she encountered people who loved her and led her through a time of brokenness.  During that time, she said she was baptized.  These things fascinated me when I first met her, and I felt a kinship.  So much was lining up with my experiences and views, and this is why I initially pursued knowing more about her.

Eventually, it became apparent she had a particular purpose in mind from the vision, and her plan was to return to where she had been before her overseas epiphany.  My heart sank because I had really grown to like her, as did everyone else, but she was determined and shouted from the rooftops what she intended to do.  Most people seemed to view her as highly spiritual and were impressed with her story of her vision.  I was, too, and wanted to know more.

As I started to ask questions the answers were vague and she soon started pushing me away.  I backed off and just observed.  Eventually, we had some disagreements and misunderstandings that demonstrated she and I were "not on the same page."  As I learned about our personality types, things started to make sense.  Although I was learning from her, she did not seem to be learning from me.  I think she realized I was seeing through her facade and that is why she pushed me away.  Her arguments were irrational and biblically incoherent, which I learned is typical of her personality type.  We all have our strengths and weaknesses.  My spiritual sibling also independently saw through her and emotionally told her she was making "a huge mistake."  It seems The LORD was giving her testimony from two witnesses.

Late in her tenure at Midland, she fleshed out the details of her plans for moving back to where she had been, and doors kept closing.  She saw this, but refused to believe she might be wrong, and she became even more hostile towards me.  I was only trying to help and simply wanted to know more, but she irrationally seemed to blame me for her troubles.  Again, I learned this is typical of an INFP.

It has been a year since she left, and things have not panned out as she expected, but she is persevering.  The place where she intended to set up her "free coffee" business is a small tourist town saturated with casual eating establishments.  Unable to find a "brick and mortar" location for her business, she has "gone mobile," and acquired equipment to set up on a day-to-day basis.  Where she is getting the money to do these things is beyond me, but apparently people are helping her.  She is so sweet and she is so determined, but it has become apparent to me she is doing this all "in her own strength."

From the beginning, she seems to have considered the vision she had to be a prophecy and she has faithfully acted upon it, but as things have not worked out most people seem to have realized her conclusions were presumptuous.  That is why I wanted to know more about the vision.  I wanted to test the prophecy.  As I said in that other post...

We should be concerned that our prayers are answered, especially our public ones, because if they are not, what does that say about us?  And what about the people we follow?  Does God answer their prayers and bring about what they prophesy and proclaim?  If not, what does that say about them?

...when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.  (Deuteronomy 18:22 NIV)

The prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the Lord only if his prediction comes true.  (Jeremiah 28:9 NIV)

The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.  (James 5:16, in part, NIV)

I do not know what my friend saw in her vision.  She said it was too complicated to explain, and I believe that.  I am certain she had it, and I told her so.  My concern all along has been her interpretation of it.  She believed it was guiding her to start a coffee shop in that particular tourist town, which is located about halfway between where each of her parents live, more than a day's journey by car.  She fell in love with the place when she was living her previous, sinful life.

The LORD used her isolation overseas to break her out of what bound her, and this has been my biggest concern.  She has returned to the location of her sin, and I am afraid it is too early for her to do that.  My stronghold was Darwin's Theory of Evolution, and I needed time away from that subject before I was ready to advocate against it.  But this is The LORD's project, not mine.  He is able to protect her and give her the lessons He wants her to have.

I continue to ask my Master why he is leading me to focus on this woman.  I understand my history during high school was to obsess over a particular girl and that led to bondage, but I do not think that is what is going on here.  The LORD is using this to teach me things, and I believe he is using me to influence others, so I do not believe it is unhealthy.  It is also helping me overcome my broken heart from losing my wife, and it is a season.  I care deeply about my friend, but I can let her go if The LORD no longer wants me to pursue it.  That is something I understand my personality type is able to do, but we also put tremendous energy and time into pursuing those we believe to be worthwhile.

I desire a relationship with my friend, and I am jealous for her attention.  (There is a difference between jealousy and envy.)  I hope she eventually sees what I have written here.  I have written this blog to whoever will be my eventual wife, should God grace me with the opportunity.  I want them to understand me, where I have come from, and where I am going.  Is it going to be her?¹  I do not know.

This is The LORD's project, not mine.

It's interesting how God's Tapestry intertwines with itself.

Back in 2001, not long after I had left my engineering job, I was in my family room with this man discussing how we might make a music video of one of his Christmas songs.  The project did not go anywhere because I was an absolute neophyte at that kind of thing, but it was a spark motivating me in the direction God was taken me.

We both have proceeded with our walks, doing as we have been led.

The Greek philosopher Socrates taught students by asking them questions, and some law schools use the Socratic Method to teach their students.  It develops critical thinking, reasoning and logic.  You can read about it here.

About a year ago, I desired a way to discuss spiritual topics without "preaching" and being annoying, and I realized I needed to learn to ask questions.  I had done that once with someone who had very different political views from mine, and the conversation was quite civil.

Within a few days of having those thoughts, I found¹ the qmap website [dead link]², which aggregates postings from a particular person claiming to have insider knowledge from the Trump Administration.  I will leave it to my readers to decide whether or not that information is reliable; it is not the topic of this post.  I bring it up here because that poster used the Socratic Method, and I found the question-asking technique very compelling.  It was also an answer to prayer, and I began using the method myself.  (Whether I am doing it right, or not, will be for others to decide.  I am always open to coaching!)

Over the years, I noticed many things in the Bible and wanted to discuss them with others, but I generally found most people needed "milk" rather than "solid food".  I remained silent about those subjects on this blog, until now.

UPDATE, July 22, 2022...

The particular person(s) claiming to have insider knowledge from the Trump Administration began posting again in June, but then stopped.  Around that time, the fiduciary of The United States of America (Anna von Reitz) was clearly rebuking Trump and "the White Hats," or "Alliance" to stand down and properly respect the actual American Government.  The posts ceased at that point.  Subsequent communications from Anna indicate the criminality is continuing unabated.

I am convinced Trump was working with the U.S. Military, a British-controlled mercenary force, to attack MUNICIPAL United States corporations and personnel, just as they have been doing since the American "Civil War" (mercenary conflict) in the 1860's.  They also made a big deal of attacking pedophiles, human traffickers, and the political "Left," but the promised "Storm" never materialized and criminality has continued to run amok.  The Media is still pumping out foreign propaganda on our shores, pharmaceutical corporations continue to poison people with viper venom, election fraud has not been fixed, and there is no indication the military is ever going to submit to their civilian employers.  My cautious hopes have turned into jaundiced disgust.

Satan will throw his own worshipers "under the bus" without a care.  He hates everybody.

None of this is escaping the eyes of the Creator of the Universe.  I stand with Him.

According to the Fiduciary of The United States of America...

I am encouraged in recent days to report that the arrest of corrupt Judges is actually taking place.

The Brigadier Generals who are typically in charge of the quasi-military court system that has dominated our “occupied” country for a hundred and sixty years, are finally waking up.

The JAG Officers occupying the vacated positions of our own Provost Marshals are jerking awake, too.

When the presiding Prosecutor was asked to explain the documented fact that a man’s court case had been converted into a bond and was being actively traded, the presiding Judge in one of our recent cases came unglued.

Oh, there wasn’t anything like that going on!
There was no conflict of interest. The Officers of the court weren’t colluding to benefit themselves and foreign interests. They weren’t placing side bets against Defendants who were at their mercy to feather their own pensions and benefits, oh, no.

But they were, and the evidence of this criminal breach of trust was firmly placed in front of that judge the whole time he was ranting about our incompetence and failure to understand reality, our conspiracy theories and ignorance of the law....

A couple days later six armed military MPs shut that court down and took the Judge, the Bailiff, and several Court Clerks into custody. They locked the courthouse doors. That Judge and the other Court Officers and the evidence to convict them are now before a military Court Martial. And things are not looking good for them.

These isolated single victories may not seem like much. A single Judge gets removed from the bench. Big deal. It doesn’t seem like much when hundreds of thousands of people are still being abused by these courts every day of every week—- but it is a start.

We expect this case will finally blow the lid off the Court Bond Scandal and remove the profit motive that these courts have to secure convictions against people who shouldn’t even be addressed by these courts.

And the word will spread through the Bar Associations and Blogs and coffee klatsches that the military is on the move and doing it’s job at last.  (Source: #3856, http://annavonreitz.com/longnight.pdf)

When I was working on the team designing the "world scale" silicone plant, the project director for the engineering corporation put something like this in front of us.  He was trying to help us think creatively to actually improve what we were doing.  It stuck with me, as you can see.

Voting is not going to change anything.  Yes, the voting systems are not secure and they are corrupt, but it is not the mechanisms that are at fault.  It's the fundamentals that matter.

Shiny objects.  Mr. Trump has always been a shiny object.  So are the elections.  So are most things in this world.  We are so easily distracted by things that are not important and do not matter.

I have learned a LOT.  Thank you, Yeshua!!!!!!!

If we have others do our work for us, they will not work for us.  We must carry our own water.  We must do things for ourselves.  Putting our faith in men will always disappoint.

I put my faith in Yeshua, and I follow Him.  He has led me out of the confusion and helped me see past the shiny objects.  He knows what he's doing.  I trust Him.

Holy Spirit

Grace and peace to everyone!

To my fellow Israelites, I encourage you to pray in the Spirit for all kinds of things, both known and unknown!  Do it as often as you can!

Just as water flows from a well when the lever is pumped, so the Holy Spirit flows when we actively make ourselves available to Him.  When we pray in the Spirit, the Father uses our lips and our groans to proclaim His will.  Though we do not understand the languages we speak, our Father forms our words into mysterious prayers authorizing amazing events to propel His Plan forward.

Men, submit yourselves to Yeshua, your King and Commander in Chief.  You are under His Authority.  Be the warriors He has prepared you all to be!

Women, respect the men around you, who have been placed in authority over you and your households.  Help them, comfort them and supply for their needs.  Pray in the Spirit unceasingly to support and augment the work of your husbands and fathers and brothers.


To my fellow Apprentices of Jesus (Yeshua), equip yourselves for work.  Make sure your tool bag is around your waist, and fill it with tools the Master gives you for your jobs.  Align yourself with His Kingdom, Israel, the only kingdom that will survive.


To those who are uncertain about these things, but want to learn more, ask the Lord of the Harvest to teach you what He wants you to know, and to bring you into His Barn.  Do not be afraid.  The Darkness wants you to doubt, but the Darkness is already defeated and only tells lies.

The Holy Spirit manifests in amazing ways, but the world does not understand.  As an engineer, I made my living in practical ways, and it is astounding that I accept and have any understanding of these things, but by God's grace it is so!  As I humble myself like a child, I clearly see that we all live in an incredible Creation.

My friends, watch this video.  Strange languages are spoken, but do not be afraid.  This is what apprentices of Jesus are called to do!... 

The entire video is a great example of many things:

• Conviction.
• Miracles.
• Repentance.
• Sharing the good news about Jesus, and what He has done.
• Immersion (baptism) in water.
• Deliverance from dark spirits.
• Immersion (baptism) in the Holy Spirit.
• Speaking and praying in an unknown language ('tongues').
• Evidence of the presence of the Holy Spirit in a person.
• Freedom.
• Healing the sick.

Study it closely and see if you can spot all of those things.

Notice at the end of the video, the woman successfully healed the young man after she "prayed in tongues" silently in her head.  Nothing happened until she did that.  Healings don't always happen that way, but this example shows how utilizing that spiritual tool can produce results.  When we pray in our unknown language, God intercedes for us and gives us the words necessary to accomplish the task.  That way He gets all of the glory!
