Anna has been traveling in England.
While doing so, she wrote a set of articles about her friends "Bathsheba" and "Uriah," primarily to communicate with him while he was on assignment in the Middle East. (See below.)
Initially, the articles come across as extremely bizarre, but they eventually make sense and point to wiser days and practices of the non-western past.
I found the timing of these articles profoundly synchronistic with events in my own life, which I have discussed privately elsewhere.
In the end, I agree with Anna's musings and the wisdom she seems to be discovering. Women and children are to be cherished, and our current culture has everything horribly distorted and backwards.
I love Anna and feel a friendly connection to her; I support her work and admire her commitment.
I do have one objection to a key conclusion she seems to be reaching, however. She states it plainly here in one of her last Uriah articles...
We are facing a worldwide struggle between directly opposed value systems --- those that cherish and value life (represented by matriarchy) versus those (represented by patriarchy) who promote death for profit. (AVR #5790)
She seems to be blaming a particular dialectic: matriarchy versus patriarchy.
Anna typically criticizes dialectics, and even does so further down in the same article...
...rich v poor, black v white, republican v democrat, Catholic v Protestant...
I believe she still misunderstands the problem.
The problem is sin.
... and the solution has already been accomplished: Yehoshuah.
Nothing else can fix the problem.
And, "It is finished."
All glory to God.
